Last month, we saw the complete specifications and price leaks of the Mi 10 and Mi 10 Pro and now, a tipster has shared an ‘About Phone’ screenshot of the alleged Mi 10 Pro 5G on Weibo. Going by the screenshot, we can expect 16GB RAM and 512GB internal storage on the handset. This is the first time we’re hearing the existence of 16GB of RAM on a smartphone, after the Black Shark 3 leak. The handset is expected to sport a 6.4-inch Full HD+ display with a 2080×1080 pixel resolution. There is no information regarding the refresh rate of the display but we could assume a 120Hz or even 144Hz refresh rate on the device as most Chinese smartphone giants are currently pushing the limits when it comes to this segment. Microsoft has announced the launch of the Xbox Bounty Program for gamers and cyber-security researchers to help identify security vulnerabilities in the Xbox Live network and services. In a blog post published Thursday, the company said that the goal of the bug bounty program is “to uncover significant vulnerabilities that have a direct and demonstrable impact on the security of Microsoft’s customers” , and qualified submissions will be eligible for bounty rewards of $500 to $20,000. As with most bug bounty programs, the vulnerabilities have to be previously unreported and, must be reproducible on the latest, fully-patched version of the company’s Xbox Live network and services at the time of submission. They’ll also have to directly affect the security of Xbox users, which means Remote Code Execution flaws that are the top of the heap in terms of severity, will earn the maximum reward. A social media booting service called Social Captain, that helps users grow their Instagram follower counts, has leaked thousands of Instagram usernames and passwords for potential hackers. According to a TechCrunch report, Social Captain stored passwords of linked Instagram accounts in unencrypted plaintext. A website vulnerability allowed anyone access to any Social Captain user’s profile without having to log in and access their Instagram login credentials. “A security researcher, who asked not to be named, alerted TechCrunch to the vulnerability and provided a spreadsheet of about 10,000 scraped user accounts,” said the report. About 70 accounts were premium accounts of paid customers. Social Captain said later it had fixed the vulnerability by preventing direct access to other users’ profiles. Apple has started rolling out its redesigned Apple Maps with a whole bunch of new features for users in the US. The update includes major improvements including better road coverage, real-time transit details, and improved navigation. HMD Global was expected to unveil its next-gen flagship smartphone as part of its Nokia 9-series sometime this year, but a new report from Pocket-Lint now suggests that it might happen as early as next month. The Finnish company is reportedly sending out media invites for an event on Sunday, February 23, at the MWC 2020 in Barcelona, where the company is tipped to unveil the Nokia 9.2 Pureview smartphone. Alongside the flagship, HMD is also said to announce a number of other smartphones at the event, including the lower-mid-range Nokia 5.2, the entry-level Nokia 1.3 and the high-end Nokia 8.2.
