The successor to the popular Redmi Note 5 Pro, which sold in millions in India, is here and you may not have heard of it as Xiaomi didn’t really make a huge deal of it. Xiaomi has unveiled only one variant, with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage of Redmi Note 6 Pro in Thailand. The device went on sale for 6,990 baht (approx. Rs. 15,999) in three different color variants namely Black, Blue, and Rose Gold.

We tried contacting Xiaomi India to know more about the device’s launch in the country, however, we haven’t received any concrete details about it. The device’s price, however, falls squarely in line with the Redmi Note 5 Pro that was launched at Rs 13,999 – but the price was ramped up to Rs 14,999 soon after.

In addition, Apple is also developing a new ‘3D-sensing rear-camera’ that is said to be able to “sense t...
